Content Takedown and IP Complaint Policy
This policy explains how rights holders can submit complaints regarding infringement, unauthorized likeness use, impersonation, or other legally protected rights.
What this policy covers
This procedure applies to claims involving copyright infringement, trademark infringement, unauthorized brand asset use, unauthorized personal image or likeness use, impersonation, or misuse of proprietary designs, products, or creative works.
Submitting a complaint
A complaint should include enough information for the company to identify the rights holder, identify the allegedly infringing material, locate the content on the platform, and assess the basis for the complaint.
- Full name and contact information of the complainant.
- Identification of the work, mark, likeness, or right at issue.
- Identification or description of the allegedly infringing content.
- A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that the complainant is authorized to act.
- Supporting documents showing ownership, control, or authorization.
Review process
Upon receiving a valid complaint, the company may review the materials provided, temporarily restrict access to content, request additional information from the complainant or the user, remove or disable content, and take account action where a violation appears likely.
Repeat violations and platform role
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that the materials they upload, generate, or distribute do not infringe third-party rights. Repeated violations may lead to permanent suspension or termination.
MAIDAN acts as a technology platform and does not actively review all user content. Except as required by law, the company is not liable for user-generated content uploaded or created through the platform.
